Tuesday, February 1, 2022 | News Release

Impact Washington Announces Continued Partnership and Support of Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) SME Track at ADVANCE/2022 Conference February 8th-10th in Lynnwood, Washington.

Impact Washington, an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Program (NIST MEP), is proud to continue its partnership with the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) to continue to offer the SME Track at their Annual Conference.

“It is an honor to continue our partnership with the PNAA. Their continued contributions to the Aerospace industry around the Northwest have helped manufacturers in immeasurable ways,” states Deloit R. Wolfe Jr., President/Center Director of Impact Washington. “Co-partnering on the SME Track has enabled us jointly to offer a unique experience for the small and medium-sized enterprises that attend the conference, and we think it's an excellent opportunity to continue to positively provide impact to all those who work within the industry.

PNAA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and strengthen the Pacific Northwest aerospace community. PNAA and Impact Washington have been actively lining up regional and national industry experts to speak around leading manufacturing topics such as workforce development, increased production efficiency, optimization, training, quality systems, cybersecurity, and more. PNAA is committed to supporting all enterprises and individuals within the aerospace sector. The SME track provides individuals in the production, engineering, quality, and human resource department with the most current information and updates about topics that matter.

“We think it’s a one-of-a-kind aerospace event in the Northwest. PNAA understands the continued potential of this important northwest sector as well as the challenges that face the industry and the workforce within it," said Carol Blayden, Director of Marketing and Partnership of Impact Washington. I'm going into my third year of being an active member of the development team for the SME Track, and over the years, I've seen the program grow in focus and attendance. We got off to a great start in 2020, and the momentum keeps building. We have been a long-time financial supporter of the association and the conference as we feel they are a driving force behind the success of the aerospace industry in the Northwest.”

PNAA’s Annual Aerospace Conference brings together hundreds of aerospace professionals, typically representing over 350 companies from more than 30 states, multiple Canadian provinces, and over a dozen countries outside North America. The annual event takes place at the Lynnwood Convention Center.

We invite your company to join us at the conference and give your employees access to insights from some of the industry’s most influential thought leaders. Visit the conference website or email Lisa Childs at events@pnaa.net for more information.
