Impact Washington Announces Three New Board MembersNew members will enhance the board's focus on the needs of manufacturers around the state. "We're excited to expand our board with three new members who will bring diverse expertise and insight into manufacturing," said Deloit R Wolfe, JR., President, and Center Director of Impact Washington – NIST MEP. "We have worked diligently to ensure Impact Washington's board and leadership represents a variety of experts from a various manufacturing industries, higher education, state leadership, and advocacy groups, and the newest board members are no exception." The new board members began their three-year terms with Impact Washington effective April 27, 2023, and can serve a maximum of two terms. The three new board members are:

FSPCA Animal Food Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals (PCQI)Learn how to write and update an animal food safety plan. This is the standardized curriculum recognized by the US Food and Drug Administration for training individuals to be qualified to oversee the safe manufacture of animal food (PCQI). The course is a prerequisite for inspectors conducting FDA CGMP inspections.
