Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification for Manufacturers

Planning Your Path to CMMC Security & Compliance

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a program designed by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to ensure that manufacturers follow outlined cybersecurity practices. Many original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) now require suppliers to meet these standards as well.

While CMMC may seem complex—like the adoption of ISO 9001—it is fundamentally a management system. Implementing CMMC is no more daunting than rolling out an ERP or quality management system. With time, planning, and the right support, CMMC can be integrated into your operations like any other system—without disrupting your business or overwhelming your team.

Whether you're just beginning or have already started, Impact Washington helps manufacturers get CMMC certified faster, avoid missteps, and implement right-sized cybersecurity practices based on standardized frameworks like NIST 800-171.
