Mike is the owner of Bay Island Group, Inc., an organization focused on helping companies solve complex problems, become more profitable, increase capacity, and improve their culture. He has over 30 years of deep experience in manufacturing, operations, systems, safety, financial performance, culture, organizational development, HR, training/education systems, media, travel, publishing, and technology.
Mike served as CEO of a manufacturing company from 2020 - 2024. Prior to that, he spent 16 years running a variety of small businesses that included corporate consulting, media production, writing (10 published books), and international travel. Mike also worked in the semiconductor industry for ten years as an engineer and manager of manufacturing operations.
Mike serves on several executive boards that are focused on community service, missions work, and apprenticeships. He is happily married, has two adult children, and loves adventuring in the great outdoors.
