Some might say the world of manufacturing is part of Dave Green’s DNA. The former Impact Washington board member and chairman brings more than 40 years of industry experience to his newest role as a North Puget Sound account executive.
Dave believes in “nurturing authentic relationships built on transparency, integrity, and empathy, as they form the foundation for meaningful collaboration and long-term success.”
During his four decades working, he’s gained expertise spanning the worlds of agriculture, food processing, and manufacturing. He’s led startups and companies in their infancy, as well as larger, multi-national operations.
His leadership experience includes his latest post as CEO of Skagit Valley Malting, where he was responsible for taking it from a startup to early-stage market acceptance and development of the senior management team, mission, strategy, and implementation. In addition, he played a key role in helping raise private equity for the growing company.
Previously as president of Acme Valley Foods, Raptor Group, he launched a local processed food production and distribution company comprising four individual operating units focused on local food production and distribution. His experience as vice president and general manager of Trans Ocean Products had him overseeing all aspects of that $80 million company, including sales, marketing, logistics, quality assurance, production, and more.
Dave also knows what it’s like to wear the entrepreneurial hat, as he and his late wife, Kathy, operated their own wool processing company for fiber production in both the wholesale and retail spaces.
Dave takes pride in his dedication to excellence and relentless pursuit of operational optimization, which have been hallmarks of his career, he said. He prioritizes active listening and is a champion of continuous improvement.
