With the FASTER Act and the addition of sesame, there are now 9 major food allergens. This course will elaborate on the major food allergens and how they affect current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Food Safety Principles for food manufacturers and suppliers.

In this interactive course, we will discuss:

  • What are allergens and Health Implications
  • Allergen Labeling
  • Regulations and Laws Pertaining to Controlling and Labeling Allergens
  • Managing Your Allergen Programs
  • Verification and Validation Activities
