She is a dedicated team player and passionate about the role Impact Washington places in fulfilling the mission of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Network.
Jessica has held various roles within the company and has extensive institutional knowledge about Impact Washington and NIST MEP.
As the Center's Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director, she is responsible for the Operation and HR functions of the Center. Jessica assists the Center Director in developing and overseeing long-term business strategies. She works with the team to identify and manage the improvement of center operations, including IT systems and reporting.
She is responsible for overseeing Impact Washington's quarterly and annual Impact Reports and implementing and maintaining the performance metrics per agreement and funding from NIST-MEP.
Jessica leads and directs the routine functions of Human Resources for the Center, including understanding and executing the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly regarding current and future talent needs, recruiting, employee retention, and succession planning. She analyzes trends in compensation and benefits and helps Impact Washington maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Born and raised in Washington State, she finds great satisfaction in Impact Washington's work to serve the manufacturing community.
When not at work, Jessica enjoys cooking, Broadway theater, is a season ticket holder at the Paramount, wine tasting, and traveling with her family.
