Coastal Workshops Bring Small Businesses and Resources Together

Wednesday, March 4, 2026 | News Release, All

GHC Workshops

Across three coastal cities, 30 entrepreneurs and small business owners came together alongside state agencies, local partners, and host organizations, including Grays Harbor Community College, for a Small Business Requirements & Resources Workshop series.

Impact Washington participated in the workshops to present our services and resources that support small businesses and manufacturers with operational improvement, competitiveness, and growth. The workshops provided an opportunity for participants to ask questions, connect directly with agencies and resource partners, and better understand available support.

As Maddie Merton, Account Executive at Impact Washington, shared, “These workshops are about meeting businesses where they are and helping them navigate resources in a practical way.”

By bringing multiple partners together in one place, the workshops helped strengthen collaboration across coastal communities and improve access to resources for small businesses. Thank you to the Washington State Small Business Liaison Team — a multi-agency partnership that helps connect small businesses with regulatory guidance, education, and state resources — for their partnership and support in helping make these workshops possible. The team will continue this work next in Northwest Washington, supporting additional small business engagement across the region.
