Everyone agrees: We need to get the youth of America excited about manufacturing. Doing that can prove to be a challenge; but one unique program, the PlastiVan, is getting the job done.
“The PlastiVan Program is a great way to WOW and excite young people about the science and the vast opportunities the plastics industry has to offer. The PlastiVan program travels to schools and companies throughout North America, educating people of all ages about plastics chemistry, history, processing, manufacturing, sustainability and applications.”
And to celebrate #MFGDay16, the PlastiVan will be visiting Washington state schools and bringing its unique, exciting program to over 500 students. This is a great way to expose students to science and technology and to especially increase their knowledge of the contribution plastics make to our word today.
