Governor Bob Ferguson Proclaims October 2026 Manufacturing Month in Washington

Wednesday, September 30, 2026 | Manufacturing Day

In recognition of Manufacturing Month, Governor Bob Ferguson has proclaimed October 2026 as Manufacturing Month in Washington, recognizing the industry’s contributions to the state’s economy, workforce, and communities. The proclamation also highlights the importance of strengthening the manufacturing workforce and supporting a competitive, growing industry.

“Manufacturing Month is an opportunity to recognize the people and companies that strengthen Washington's economy and create opportunities across our state,” said Kelley Sowards, President & Center Director of Impact Washington. “Every day, manufacturers solve complex challenges, build new capabilities, and advance the products, technologies, and industries that help Washington remain competitive”

We thank the manufacturers, educational institutions, workforce development organizations, industry associations, economic development partners, state agencies, and resource partners whose collaboration helps strengthen Washington's manufacturing ecosystem. Together, they are creating opportunities, advancing innovation, and supporting a more competitive future for manufacturers across our state.
