In recognition of #worldpoetryday2023 - we asked ChatGPT to write a poem about Washington manufacturing.
In Washington State, where the forests tower high,
And the mountains touch the sky,
The sound of industry fills the air,
As machines hum and workers dare.
In factories across the land,
The manufacturing process begins,
Creating goods that will span,
From Washington to other states.
In Seattle, the aerospace industry soars,
As planes are built to take on great tours,
From the massive Boeing plant,
To the skilled hands of the manufacturing chant.
In the city of Tacoma, factories hum,
As the products of the Northwest become,
Goods of metal, glass, and wood,
All are designed and crafted for the greater good.
In Spokane, the manufacturing drums,
Echo with the sounds of machines and thrums,
As the workers toil and strive,
Creating products to help us thrive.
From East to West, the state of Washington,
Is known for its manufacturing run,
And though the process can be tough,
The pride of the workers is enough.
So let us raise a cheer,
For the products that we hold dear,
From Washington State's manufacturing might,
To the world, we send our products in flight.
